Tips on life in general:
If you’re wanting to binge -
- Go for a long walk. Reflect on yourself, remind yourself why you started your recovery journey. You want a better life for yourself, right? Aggressive goals require aggressive work ethic.
- Drink tons of water. Add lemon and a pinch of salt.
- Meal prep for the week. This way, you already have bowled up portions of what you want to eat throughout the week. This includes snacks.
If you’re struggling with motivation, inspiration, stress and worries -
- Pray to whatever God/Gods you believe in - if you do. Ask for guidance, that you’re guided to a better, stronger path.
- Write things down. Start with your goals. Then break them down step by step on how and when to achieve them.
- Invest in a planner. This will bring a sense of productivity in your life and help you keep things in perspective.
And last but not least -
Remember that when you’re reaching the next level in life, you’re gonna be stressed. You’re gonna be uncomfortable, and you’re gonna worry. You think caterpillars are comfortable in the cocoon of theirs before they become a butterfly? No. They’re stuck in a tight, tiny bubble, but it is only temporary. Remember - this feeling is only temporary. Soon, you will evolve. Like the caterpillar, you will become the most beautiful butterfly there is, and you will spread your wings and fucking fly.
"I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."
- F. Scott Fitzgerald
